If you have dried mushies though i don t think there is any way to get spores from them.
Place some of the straw or other moist material at the bottom and add mushroom end pieces. Some specialty food stores do sell a type of agar. You can collect them by doing a spore print from a mushroom cap spores fall out from the gills. Not saying it can t be done but it is far from trivial.

Pretty much every mushroom growing resource i could find says that oyster mushrooms are the easiest variety for first time growers as they grow fast and can easily thrive in substrates made of.
