Actually in the new age of everything in 2016 you can wear a sanitary pad to swim in water. No you can wear a tampon though. At first it may feel uncomfortable but you ll et use to. Plus it may swell up into a big soppy mess.
No you cannot wear pads while swimming. If you wear a pad when you swim the blood doesnt soak into the pad properly and it will go everywhere. I m sorry to ruin your fun but no you can t wear a pad in the pool. Wear the pad that will accommodate your flow.
Because pads absorb water they become less effective when you re swimming. Tampons are available for swimming whilst your on your period. Submerged in water like a pool a pad will completely fill with water leaving no room for it to absorb your menstrual fluid. The truth of the matter is it s perfectly fine to wear a sanitary pad when you go swimming.
