With regards to actually focusing on by around two months generally babies are beginning to focus more on faces before this their eyes are not very well coordinated.
Babies are syncing their brain waves with yours. Okay so i m a ftm and my baby is trying to stand up on his own recently. Everything your baby sees creates connections in his brain and contributes to his learning. A baby of about 3 month and older in my experience typically looks up at the ceiling because there are lighting appliances like a chandelier or even a simple light bulb.
It is not intended to be and should not be interpreted as medical advice or a diagnosis of any health or fitness problem condition or disease. My son was fascinated by them for a time and i heard the same from other people. Research reveals that when babies stare at mom or dad with unblinkingly they are sharing brain activity. Or a recommendation for a specific test doctor care provider procedure treatment plan product or course of action.
Hi gary thanks for your post and for joining this thread. You may even notice your infant smiling as they sleep. As others have commented it is normal for you babies to look up and explore the environment around them. Usually this goes away by 2 to 4 months old and can even be a reason why your child keeps looking up at the ceiling weakness of their extraocular muscles the muscles that control the movement.
