One normal behaviour of cats is licking.

The third reason because of which your cat is licking and biting you is because it wants your attention and wants to play with you. Your cat may choose to groom you your hand or face or head says dr. Cat skin is loose and they also don t feel pain quite as immediately as humans do. You shouldn t take this as a form of aggression.
There are interesting and factual reasons why cats lick and bite you. Additionally they may try to bite especially if they are in a lot of pain as a way of warning the nearby humans that they aren t feeling well or they re hurting. It sounds like unhygienic but researchers say it s a way to groom themselves and stay clean.
