Why Does My Hair Smell Like Wet Dog

I have fairly long and thick hair that i wash daily and i do a through job but it still smells like wet dog if i go outside in the rain.

However there are doggy odors that pet owners should be more worried about. I am losing alot of hair for other reasons not related to odor issues.
