Why The Fridge Is Not Cold But The Freezer Is Whirlpool

Condenser coils cool refrigerant to maintain a cool temperature within the refrigerator.
One of the main reasons for fridge not cooling but freezer works is that the evaporator coils are not working in proper order. My whirlpool fridge with the freezer at the bottom had the warm fridge cold freezer problem. The second most common cause for a whirlpool refrigerator not cool is a defective door seal. My whirlpool refrigerator is not cooling but the freezer is working 01 the evaporator coils are frosted over the defrost heater assembly turns on a few times throughout the day to melt away any frost that may have accumulated on the evaporator coils.
I unplugged it for several hours thoroughly cleaned it that didn t contribute to the fix but it looks like new again took the back panel inside the freezer off to check the fan and noticed the coils and grate had a lot of ice on them even after several hours of defrosting. Another issue could be with the condenser fan. If the coils become covered with dust and debris they may not be able to do so effectively. Every refrigerator contains a set of coils called an evaporator which makes the inside of the fridge cold.
Another possible problem is a bad evaporator fan motor which circulates the air from the freezer to the refrigerator. Before your food begins to spoil follow a short troubleshooting list to see if you can take care of the problem first without having to call a refrigerator technician. For a solution you have to first remove the frost by blowing hot air. Whirlpool condenser coils are dirty.

The fan motor could be overheating shortly after it starts operating and thus not circulating air. If the door seal is loose or damaged your fridge won t cool properly. Defrost system problems dirty condenser coils fan failures leaky door gaskets or control problems can lead to your freezer not getting cold enough.
