Now before we dive in i want to admit something. I don t fully understand all of the reasons god does not heal. The bible says that he truly is the father of compassion and the god of all comfort who comforts us in all our troubles 2 corinthians 1 3 4. We cannot possibly know all the reasons why god chooses to heal or not to heal. This is the very sentence that aaron asked about. My 62 year old father was diagnosed with terminal cancer when my children were 4 2 and newborn. Why then does god choose to heal some people. God lets sin brings death sin can be from or own sins some inherited sins from our family from sins past that brings disease up on us and sins from others that are past from them to us.
