Pizza is easy to make round since you can easily roll dough into a ball and then squish it flat into a disk.
It is easy to assemble a square box than a round one which can be quite tricky. Pizza boxes typically arrive flat and have to be constructed on site. Before cooking pizza dough is formed into a ball to rise. The box is square since it is easier to mass produce them that way and can be cut out of cardboard sections.
So why is pizza round. It s too hard to make a round box. So i did some research into why we have all these different shapes. There is no hard and fast answer but it s partially because round containers are too hard to make and square containers keep your meal safer.
