It sounds like your an emotional person and that you become nervous when faced with trouble turmoil or stress.
You react to the problem with a laugh because this emotional outburst is the one. Crying while laughing may be from reaching a heightened emotional state from a long bout of laughter or it could be a physical reflex from the shaking and contracting of muscles that happens when you laugh. Great comedy can bring you to tears. People have these feeling in a subconscious space in their hearts.
First of all we have the relief theory that postulates that laughter serves a homeostatic mechanism by which psychological tension is reduced. The left side of your brain is in charge or controls your sadness or anger and the right controls happiness. Nervous laughter happens you re not alone but it is a curse. Like there was this one time when me and my mom was in court and she was crying i started to laugh and my aunt had to remove me from the court room then there was a time when my grandma died and my mom was crying in my arms and i laugh about that also and there was a time when one of my kids was get tin a shot from the doctor.
Many people laugh as a way to cope with negative situations. Either way it s a better release than watching the end of a sad movie. Why do i laugh when something bad happens or if someone gets hurt. One starts to laugh as a way to reduce emotional stress.
