Why Is It So Hard To Load A Magazine
Camila Farah
This episode of firearms tips and techniques for beginners is about how to load the magazine for a typical semi automatic pistol or handgun.
I can only put 3 rounds in each 9 round magazine. So yea they can be dang hard to load. Hardest to load 4th round after leaving p365 magazine fully loaded for several days they have become significantly easier to load except the 4th round. Got the 2 12 rounders from osage had a heck of a time even getting 11 in 12 was impossible.
Fortunately i had my ruger sr9c mag loader handy it took a lot of pressure but i got that 12th round in each. It was about as hard to load 12 round like the 10 rounders were. As the magazine is filled the spring depresses and filling more rounds becomes more difficult. I can only put 3 rounds in each 9 round magazine.
I couldn t make a fist for 2 weeks after that. I ve oiled the springs worked them checked for obstructions but the spring tension is so high that i can t physically put more than 3 rounds in. Don t worry over time the springs get broken in and after time your hands will get stronger and it won t be so difficult. I ve loaded magazines by hand m 16 as well as 40 cal.

I just bought a new 9mm pistol with new magazines but a speed loader was not included. I will teach y. I had to repeatedly load 10 round hk mags for a 4 day shooting course i was taking. That s because most modern 9mm autos have a single stack feed on their magazine topside where it feeds into the chamber.
I just bought a new 9mm pistol with new magazines but a speed loader was not included. New magazine springs are stiff especially for smaller guns like the m p shield beretta bodyguard and ruger lcp. This makes it extra hard to load the magazine especially after you get most of the rounds in.
